Dun & Bradstreet Open Ratings offers Past Performance Evaluations (PPE) to all companies looking to sell services and products to large purchasing organizations such as the General Services Administration (GSA). D&B will contact customers, whose references you have given them, and survey them to determine how well your company performed in the past. They will need a minimum of 6 references that can provide the essential answers about your firm. It is recommended 10-20 references are provided and you follow up with references to ensure evaluations are being completed. The evaluation is good for 12 months from the original date issued and contracting agents will have access to this data to assist them in determining your ability to perform on a potential contract.
