Last Friday, Interactive Day San Diego (IDSD) brought industry thought leaders together for the 11th year in a row to discuss how the fast-changing digital landscape is impacting marketing, technology, and media. The event began with an interactive one-day luncheon and has now grown to become a premier digital marketing and ad technology event on the West Coast. IDSD 2015 focused on 5 areas: Analytics & Data Management; Digital Advertising & SEO; Design & Development; Social Media & Content Marketing; Technology & Trends.

Seamgen’s very own CEO/Founder/President Marc Alringer was invited to speak at this year’s event. He was among many other notable speakers from major companies such as Pinterest’s Kevin Knight, Facebook’s Rene Barasoain, ESPN’s Justin Hergianto, San Diego Chargers Nicoletta Ruhl, and Moz’s Rand Fishkin. This year’s event had over 1,000 attendees and were expected to grow bigger and bigger.

Marc’s public speaking skills were on display when he gave a 30-minute presentation on “Best Practices in Software Development”, where he discussed the benefits and challenges of building a successful product team. Marc worked the room, and the room erupted in laughter several times as his personality came through on the slides. It was was of much joy to see the interest everyone took in his presentation. At the conclusion of his talk, there was a sea of hands that went up as he did his best to get to all the people who had questions.
